Construction Physics Slack - Code of Conduct
(last updated 01/28/22)
A quick overview of the code of conduct for the Construction Physics Slack Channel:
The purpose of the channel is for experts and enthusiasts to share their knowledge and expertise, ask questions, get feedback, and otherwise discuss better ways of building (though of course there is plenty of room for non-building related conversations as well!)
No bullying/harassment - doing so will get you removed from the channel.
No excessive promotion of personal projects, jobs, etc. - promotion should be limited to the “shameless” channel.
Avoid excessive politics - I’m not going to make a blanket ban, but there are roughly 8 million other places on the internet for political discussions, and I think excessive politics is likely to crowd out better discussions. If I think you’re violating the spirit of this rule you’ll get removed from the channel. (I recognize that many discussions around building, such as zoning, infrastructure bills, etc. have a political aspect to them. These sorts of discussions are fine.)
Anything else that I think is unhealthy/harmful to the community will get you removed from the channel - being a member is ultimately at my discretion.
